Watched two more films over the weekend:
Belfast - I liked it. It's a nice little story set during those turbulent times in Northern Ireland. Its mostly based on Kenneth Branagh's childhood. Some endearing characters, especially the grandparents played by Ciaran Hinds and Judy Dench. The main character Buddy is also pretty cool. Its underpinned by this sad impending decision they might have to make.
The Lost Daughter - This one was great. Very raw film on the choices you make and how you live with them. Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley steal the show. Also Dakota Johnson is there I like how it all ended too. Directorial debut for Maggie Gyllenhall and she's probably going to be in the nominations for screenplay or direction.

I didn't see the light until I was already a man and by then it was nothing to me but blinding.
