Lot of Sri Lankan cricketers look like they are about to shit in the pants in their first match. You can see a bit of fear/nervous in them. Lakmal had a pretty confident look in his first over. I rememember he bowled a bouncer, and stared back at the batsmen and even Sanga loved it. 05-15-2022, 01:45 PM

Kept going for the yorkers despite the risks. Changed up his speed nicely too. Confident with his appeals too 05-16-2022, 05:56 PM

So, I am making this prediction for a team that is not even in the top 5 of the points table yet. If Prithiv Shaw gets back into the team soon, they will get into the playoffs for sure! This is the only team that has a loaded frontline batsmen and also a power hitting middle order (both together). Their power hitting batting depth is much more than any other team. I wanted to remind my call above - I am predicting Delhi to win this year's IPL. No ifs anymore! They are going to win. 05-16-2022, 10:12 PM
Another low score for BR, trying to get as many runs as possible during the PP.

#QuickByte: Best economy rate for a bowler in a single season of the IPL (min 40 overs) Muttiah Muralitharan - 2009 - 5.2 Rashid Khan - 2020 - 5.4 *Sunil Narine - 2022 - 5.4* Sunil Narine - 2013 - 5.5 Sunil Narine - 2012 - 5.5 05-19-2022, 10:27 PM
Hasaranga figures of 4-025-1 in the final group match which takes his wickets tally to 24, joint highest wicket taker with Chahal. But RCB not qualifying for the knock outs and the likes of Chahal, Rabada and Malik having more matches, that would be it for Hasaranga. That said, it has been an excellent performance by him in his first full season of the IPL.

Good bowling by Pathirana. He didn't look like he was about to cry when he got like most of the SL bowlers, he smiled it off. He is worth getting excited over. SL's T20 team will be good.
Great batting by Ashwin. |
