I mentioned the ton to draw in nz but yea I missed the 160 against eng. It was before my time. but 2 big innings in ten years is pretty fkn horrific. There was what, a double against Zimabwbe. Other than that, feels like he`s kept his average up through a bunch of inconsequential innings.

Dafuq are you talking about.

Two 100s in England alone are stuff of legend, got a couple really good ones vs Pakistan, 100 in NZ, back to back 100s vs India, all good stuff. And a whole bunch of crucial 50+ scores too.

Are these guys even watching cricket.

Gura scored a hundred against Imran, Wasim and Qadir when he was young. Had a great series in NZ. Scored another hundred as opener in the next series in NZ. He was solid enough in that era. Went under the radar because of his method.

You can't call a first innings 100 inconsequential because we lost the game later. It is a team sport after all. Scoring a 100 in the first innings to give the team a good start is essentially expected of good batsmen.
