This is true. Being stronger gives a big advantage with both bat and ball. There's a difference between size and strength though. Bigger players will be slower, less agile and explosive which is bad for batting.

Organized cricket in WI makes up of small number of teams with handful divisions. It's worse among smaller islands. Very small % of the population play organized cricket even in that entire 5 million population. Cricket is more popular in Guyana and that's why a country of 800,000 people have produced quality cricketer over the years. The discussion was about strength, go back to dildo reviewing. Thanks.

Not true, cricket is the most popular sport in the Carribean and it's more popular in Barbados than any other territory in the Carribean. With only a population around 300,000, Barbados has produced more quality cricketers included Sobers, Wes Hall and the three W's than any other territory in the Carribean.

You might be able to hit a few sixes and bowl fast for a few overs but strength alone does not make you a good cricketer without skills. Carribean cricketers of the past had the skill to go with their strength but present-day players seem to lack the same level of skill.

We are very sad today that our juniors have now lost 3 finals in 5 consecutive appearances in under-19 finals.

On a serious note, nothing beats the CWC final..but we can boast of consecutive test series wins in Australia

What is considered "big" though ? are we talking 6'2 ? or 6'7 ?
