The Major Limited Over (50 overs) cricket tournament for 2022 will commence 27 June with a full card of 13 matches involving all 26 first-class teams.
The teams have been grouped into two with the winner and runner-up of each group qualifying for the semi-finals which is scheduled for 25 July followed by the final on 28 July.
NCC are the defending champions having defeated Ragama CC in the final last year.
The groupings:
GROUP A: Tamil Union, NCC, Moors SC, Police SC, Lankan CC, Colts, Sebastianites, SSC, Bloomfield, Ace Capital CC, Saracens SC, Badureliya SC, Kalutara TC.
GROUP B: Ragama CC, Army SC, Chilaw Marians CC, CCC, Negombo CC, Kurunegala YCC, BRC, Panadura SC, Kandy Customs SC, Air Force SC, Nugegoda SWC, Navy SC, Galle CC.
