It's important that Sadeera must comeback, his dismissals have been soft.
Lot of promising batsmen have started their domestic careers with a bang but have been unable to sustain the same form after that. It shows that they have been found out by the opposition very quickly and doesn't seems to have the technique or the temperament to rectify their mistakes and be one up on the opposition.
Exactly, I talked about this few weeks ago after watching Hemang Badani's interview where he says it is actually stupid to select batsmen based on one season. Second season teams go through their previous year's chart of how the batsmen were dismissed, where they scored more runs and what kind of average they had vs each types of bowlers and so on. He said most cricketers can't correct their weaknesses and that is why they don't make them. He said if they can't correct the time they are 20 chances are they aren't going to improve. Ron and Sadeera are not the only example Waduge, Ashen Silva, and Shehan Fernando were few of the examples. Can you think of anyone ? I think few Indian boys were also the similar case.
