I think we gotta judge our players based on Loi. Red ball cricket is supposed to be the toughest format but it seems like redball cricket in our FC is the easiest format. Everyone has good averages, 100s, 150s, 200s and 300s. Remember when Ajantha Mendis scored a century in which 90 runs came of boundaries ? Meanwhile all our domestic and even international players have less than an impressive Loi stats, even Kusal Perera and Chandi broke into international scene with Loi average in mid 20s while they had a FC average of 50 and Chandi close to 60. Also I noticed that our spinners don't do too well in Loi formats, considering most of our matches are Odis and T20s. We should carefully look at our Loi domestic scenes and pick players performing there.
