Guys I have a question is it possible for someone who didn't play school cricket to break into FC and national side ? If Legs spinners are high in demand and if it it takes them several years to mature how can we develop good leggies ? School matches are too competitive for a leggie to commit mistakes, and learn from it. Schools will rather go with a stump to stump boring spinner like Pathirana and Rambukwella instead of a highly talented but underdeveloped Leggie. Is this why we have so many uninspiring finger spinners and not enough Leggies ? It is sad that only Vandersay and Hasaranga are the only recognizable leggies we have. Hasaranga doesn't even look like a quality attack leggie but rather a "mystery" like spinner who mixes well. Lets not even talk about vandersay's consistency. I'm tired of seeing non-turning SLA and Off break bowlers. These guys can't even turn on our pitches, can never rely on these guys in England or South Africa. Right now we only have Sandakan but he turns into most batsmen, we need a big spinning leggie. Is there anyone that is upcoming ?
