Some good sides here though. No massive ommisions. What on earth happened to the generation of batters older than DDS

Man this guy Dilshan Madushanka is impressive. We haven't had a left arm pacer bowling well controlled inswinging yorkers with some gas in the national squad. If not for the no ball Shanaka would have been a goner first ball. He's right on the money.

However he should be managed very carefully, he is young and I fear if he comes to national team and the coach does too much tweaking, eg trying too hard to teach him outswinger can ruin his natural inswinger as well. For example he reminds me how Irfan Pathan burst into the scene, was bowling unbeleivably well, and then came to national side and they did so much tweaking on his bowling and he lost it all and became cannon for fodder. Hope that doesn't happen to Lahiru, as it is very easy for left arms to lose their natural talent after too much tweaking. Can he bat too, definitely has lots of potential. 08-08-2022, 10:29 PM
The first two matches show where we are at in T20 cricket, can't go past the 120-130 mark most times.
