Ice Cream, Chocolates and Sweets Thread

So with PJ being a daily consumer of chocolates and ice cream, its only appropriate that we too take a leaf out of the wise and see how we can introduce that into our lifestyle.

This thread is meant to be a guide on what to pick/go for once you have figured out how to do that.

So please feel free to mention your favorites here. It will come in handy.

These days my favorite chocolate is the Cadbury Oreo. Bloody love that. Its hard to find it here though.

In terms of Ice Creams, in SL we have this brand called Isle of Gelato. They do the greatest Pistachio ice creams.

I'm normally one of those who go into any ice cream place, look at everything and then finally settle for Chocolate. Every single time.

This Pistachio ice cream changed that. It is heavenly.

Love pistachio too.

Not gonna lie the Gelato I had in Italy - especially Florence - still takes the no 1 spot for me.

I’m opposite of Keshan I guess. I usually try different flavours and go with their specials etc.

Yeah, Isle of G has some great stuff. Alerics cookie espresso is pretty good too. I like Haagen-Dazs from the foreign ones.

Chocolate ice cream all the time unless it's Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Dazs tubs.

Bada should remember we went to Haagen Dazs restaurant in Lester Square back in 2010 ish , it used to be this amazing place with all kind of fancy ice cream menus, people used queue up even in the coldest winter nights to get in to it. Was in a prime spot too with next all the red carpet cinema places all those premiers happen.

It's not there anymore such a shame.

In a couple of locations in Colombo including the Colombo City Centre. I think the first one was in Galle.
