I meant the percentages of centuries at 3 Vs 5. However, I admit that he has performed better than I expected at 3. He has however not being tried against pace plus movement. He could be a sitting duck. He has handled pace and bounce in SA well. Swing and movement ??????. The man has lots of grit. If there is something that I will nail him at 3 is that he does not convert

In the 11 innings Chandimal has batted at #3 since September 2024, he has come to bat within the first 3/4 overs around 9 times. This is against Australia, NZ and SA. So obviously he has faced pace and movement against world class fast bowlers. You are just making comments based on assumptions.

We can only look at matches he batted at 3. Can't compare based on assumptions.

Fair enough. IMHO Chandimal is a gem at 5 and far better than 3, even though I accept the circumstances. So far he has proved me wrong at 3. Pray that it continues
