I've never seen Lakshan playing a big shots as a finisher down the order. Have you? Only time I saw him was for Galle in 2020 LPL. Even in that inning he was just timing the bowl than going for big shots.

Yeah Dhananjaya Lakshan opened for SL u19 in the wc. He`s defintely a top order player. Just a huge struggle for him to get into the side unless he really piles on the runs

Strong action and decent pace.

Has underperformed for the last 3-4 years.

Hopefully we understand his importance and get him back to the fold ASAP.
