I watched the Zimbabwe innings, was quite shocked as Vandersay, looked really threatening. Turn, bounce, creations with the one that went straight and the other one which spun. For perhaps the first time ever, no shitty balls. To put my faith in him, after a series of wicket taking balls and finally one great game is putting myself on line. However, if he is accurate Waniya as 1st choice with Vandersay as 2nd spinner in white ball, let's say, pairing with Chameera, would be awesome. I f Binura plays as the 2nd pacer and one who can bat, perhaps, we can cut some slack for Chamika at 7. Asalanka bowls off spin, and if DDS plays as the wall batter in the Chandimal space, it could be ok

The other surprise was the wk of KM1 which was far better than I expected. For ones who make recommendations and consult he is a favored choice. Maiyya likely thinks he is his opening replacement with ability to hit over the top. He is likely to be given a long rope, with wk role to ensure position. That means the only chance for Dickers and Chandi will be test matches as KM will play here primarily as batsman

Pathum is looking great, he and Asalanka are our star finds for the year. Avishka will surely play, and it's quite possible Nissanka can get shunted to 3.

I am still not convinced with Vandersay. True he bowled really well in the 3rd ODI but he has to be more consistent before I can place any faith in him. The pitch for the 3rd ODI was the most suitable for the spinners in the 3 matches played.

Avishka and Pathum can open and Kusal Mendis can bat at 3. Still not convinced with Mendis though, he is making the same mistakes he did before. I`d honestly like Chamika to be sent up the order. Again he proved he isnt really a pinch hitter and is kinda wasted down at 7 or whatever. He is a proper accumulator. Excellent at quick singles but below par at boundaries
