Hasaranga hasn't been successful in ODI's as much as in t20I's anyway. It will be a good opportunity try out someone like Colombage or Vimukthi

I think it depends on whether we want a like for like replacement for Wanindu.
If we want a leggie we'd prolly go back to Vandersay or even give a cap to someone like Pulina or Colombage. Else go with a spin bowling AR like Ramesh Mendis. It remains to be seen if we are going to persist with Maheesh. Kusal Mendis~the almighty, set to return on the 31st Jul 2022

Ideally i`d have Praveen and Colombage/Pulina. Vandersay is too unreliable still imo but has been doing good in the last 2 competitions hes been in 12-30-2021, 12:51 PM
I would agree. Give Vimukthi and Colombage a chance plus Ramesh Mendis. We need back up options B and C. This is the chance

This is a good opportunity to try a couple of new spinners, but not sure if they will make it to 2023. Spinners don't last long in the modern SL ODI set up. Here's the last decade

Actually the sample size should be even smaller for this as guys like Pushpakumara and Weerakoon who played in only one series don't show up.
