Dilshan's tribute
I am deeply saddened to hear the demise of Bandula Warnapura; our first test captain and a great friend to me. He loved the sport and dedicated great part of his life to develop both players and Cricket in Sri Lanka. Bandula aiya was loved by many Sri Lankans for contributions both on and off the field. After retiring from Test Cricket, he went on to coach many young cricketers and extended his guidance to the Cricket Board to develop the sport we all love. You are a true legend and you will be missed by many. I am forever grateful for your support towards Sri Lanka Cricket and many players inducing myself. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones. May he attain supreme bliss of nibbana! 10-20-2021, 01:03 AM
