I'm planning to go to Canada next. Mainly because it's driving distance and I've never actually driven to another country in my entire life. All the places I've lived in are either goddamn islands or this big ass country.

I've done that but found it pretty underwhelming in the end, driving between England , Wales , Scotland doesn't really count, you don't feel anything different from country to country. But I drove to France and then to Belgium, driving around I didn't feel that much difference to UK apart from few places. 03-01-2021, 04:07 PM

Haha yeah I know it's not a huge deal just want to do it. Europe is so cool in that though you can visit another country for the evening lol. 03-01-2021, 04:35 PM

Early August is good too, perhaps come around when GT20 Canada is scheduled, you can get good seats for like $20. If SL matches aren't scheduled you can watch SL players as well. Porky, Shanaka, Dickwella and KJP were bound to play both seasons but backed out due to the last-minute series and only Malinga from SL played. The talent is better than you think. ABD will probably play in the next one. Pretty much most of RSA, NZ, Australian T20 players like LYNN, Pak and WI players will be there for sure. Gayle, Russell, Simmons are sure. Parking downtown is expensive asf, like $35/Day. So perhaps, just fly here if it's cheaper and take the bus and subway everywhere and you can rent a car to visit Niagara. Or if you have relatives you can drive and live with them for free lol. Do you have family or are you single? Just understand that Toronto is not like London or Paris, the downtown is not in the middle of the city, it's at the edge, so look for hotels accordingly. Also, don't tell people you are from US, then they will spit in your food. 03-01-2021, 04:43 PM
^^ That's on the other side, I live in Portland (OR) so Vancouver is the closest. Plus from what I hear Vancouver is much nicer all around.
And no I don't wanna fly that I can do any time, just driving is fun. I've done a number of road trips here so it's gonna be the same pretty much. 03-01-2021, 05:24 PM
