Spark seems a bit better with 600 price point. But the flight time is 16 mins..which is a bit shit and I read in reviews it means it's really about 10 mins. So seems like I'd need to have about 2-3 more batteries to have a decent flight time of about 20-25 mins. I guess I should factor that in to the final cost.
I read McLovings posts after this too.
So I have never personally flown a Spark, so can't personally attest to the quality. But the specs seem pretty good, the only negative really is the camera compared to Spark, but if you're comparing between Mavic and this, I think yeah, for much less price this is a better option. Also Mc has personally used these and his comments suggest this is pretty good, so I'd say go for it.
Regarding batteries, yes, so 2/3 of 16 is about 10-11 minutes, you definitely want 2 or 3 batteries to get close to 30 minutes of picture and video time. Cuz remember, when you start flying you can't take pictures straightaway. Usually frist time you fly up you kinda are doing a survey, how things look, figuring out which angles would work best etc. Then only can you take some nice looking pics and vids. So your first battery would really run out for that. Maybe start with 2 batteries, if you feel like that's not enough go for 3.
