I know Charith Abeysinghe contested through SJB. I said Champika lost credibility by changing parties but in this case he knows the JVP very well. Champika explains his comments were based on JVP election manifesto.

It's funny you say Champika is known to tell lies when AKD is spitting lies all the time. Now AKD has advanced from telling blatant lies to threatening. It was very clear if you listened to his speech at the 60th anniversary of the JVP. It was shameful for the president of the country make such poor comments.

JVP has the right to form councils where they have absolute majority but in councils they don't have a majority, the group who have the majority vote has the right to form councils. This is according to the local government elections act passed during the Yahapalanaya government. I can't remember the exact year but somewhere during 2016-18. This act was passed with the JVP voting for it. Now they can't complain about it. Know your facts before commenting.

Tell me one useful thing these buggers have done in the last 6/7 months except tell lies and blaming others.

Who says corruption has stopped? Ministers like Wasantha Samarasinghe are alleged robbing off rice imports etc.

Who says nepotism has stopped? Husband and wife, Bimal Ratnayake and his wife, father and son, Nihal and Chaturanga Abeysinghe are in parliament.

What did JVP say about IMF before the Presidential election, they have done a complete U-turn. AKD said they would put Nandalal and Siriwardhana in jail when they come to power, again a complete U-turn without any shame. They have clearly lied to the people.

Not one of these so called investments have come nor has any projects started. Nothing but talk.

Both digital infrastructure and National E-ID was started by Gota but JVP strongly protested against these saying all the data will be collected by India but JVP are now trying to go ahead with the same thing without any shame. JVP has clearly lied, not allowed to make progress on these but suddenly these projects are OK.

Just because you shout corrupt, people don't become corrupt. Has to be proved by the justice system. Why can't AKD do as he promised before the election. He can't because he knows all the things they said are nothing but lies.
