When a board has no T20 league or had it but received a bad rep due to payments pending, abandoned it for a decade and such it is important that when you restart that the tournament looks serious and reputable. Due to Coivd, the 1st season gets a pass but it is upto SLC to make the league reputable. Imagine hearing that SLC is starting a T20 league after a decade and Dilshan who retired 5 years ago is back playing along with Manpreet Gony and Irfan Pathan lol.
You have this low IQ fatish about player's age, height and other irrelevant things except performance which is the key factor. If a player can perform irrespective of age, height etc, I don't see anything wrong in him playing in a t20 league. That said, Dilshan has only said he is available, it will depend on whether any of the franchises actually wants him. So there is no point in jumping the gun and arguing about something that might not happen in the end.
