Ya I loved Comminity when it started, It was pretty novel and troy and abed were hilarious. but it just so ott, and boring and repetitive.

arrested dev is incredibly witty and cleverly put together. the lines that fumke delivers are hilarious.

the best comedy on tv atm is definitely broklyn 99.

I just started watching game of thrones and I don't understand what it's about, I hear a lot about dragons and magic but can someone explain?

I will give you the lay of the land.

The story is based on Houses (or families) and their fight to gain the Iron Throne. Which signifies the ruler of all the 7 lands in Westeros (fictional land area)

The main Houses/Familes are

Lannisters
Starks
Targaryen
Baratheon
There are plenty more but these are the main ones and I don't want to confuse you.

The capital of Westeros is Kings Landing. And where the Iron Throne is. So everyone you ever see is at some point coming and going from there or are trying to attack it.

I don't know what you want to know but since you asked about Dragons;

House Targrgen are the Dragon family. They have control over Dragons and use them in battle etc. But the last known Dragon is meant to be long gone so no one fears them that much anymore. They used to be the rulers of the Iron Throne for over 300 years. But they were ousted and have now been banished from Kings Landing. The silver haired girl and her brother , I think they show them in the first few eps, are the 2 main people left from the Family. By right they are the rightful heirs to the Iron Throne, but are banished. This is why you seem them out in the wilderness and now are probably in capture of Karl Drogo the horse lord and his men?

The magic is subjective, its ingrained in the story as with any fantasy genre tale. But its far less in your face in GoT. You will see it from time to time but it just fits the story. I will let you discover it.

Lastly the Starks live in the North in Winterfell. You will keep hearing them as the Notherners etc.

Lannisters in Kings Landing

If you just started Baratheon is also in Kings Landing and Robert Baratheon is king. Ned STARK is his buddy from the North. And the whole show begins when Robert invites Ned to the Hand of the King, i.e. his right hand man in what is known as the Small Council. A sort of close set of advisers to the king.
