Those two guys who write for the PR stuntman on the SLC site will be quite busy during the next domestic cricket season.

Simon Willis -
We had a lot of injuries before, and we've reduced that number by about 37% Where did that number come from? How is it even calculated?? Need to ask Andrew if he followed that up. 06-01-2017, 01:30 AM
It's a good interview and Sumathi has outlined his plans which I am happy to finally know.
But its a bit silly to jump from Club to district to Prov - one player can be playing in all 3 levels.. The goal should be to completely push down club cricket as something that is a big deal Clubs in provinces can feed into the district teams and district to Prov teams - that was what I outlined in my Vision Mugatiya article ages ago 06-01-2017, 01:31 AM
Pink ball domestic cricket is so completely unnecessary. Playing them will only add to the expenses. Rather they spend that money elsewhere.
Not sure what the point is even if we are not sure of the feasibility to play DN Tests in SL - dew etc etc. 06-01-2017, 07:50 AM

So bottom line is Willis has properly taken care of 37 such Pereras and remainder were left to rot Kusal Mendis~the almighty, set to return on the 31st Jul 2022
