Rangana Herath @HerathRSL
Happy to get a Hatrick, Thank you for all the support & wishes, great performance from Dilruwan & all the boys, Thanks 08-05-2016, 03:17 PM
The bowlers have done it again for us. Well done to Herath and to Dilruwan who upped his game and bowled beautifully to the left-handers. Hopefully we can finish things off tomorrow.
Openers have flopped again. It's time to move on from these two. Chandimal's w'keeping is another problem. I don't know why Kusal Perera is out of favor with the gloves. But if he's to continue at no.3 he won't be able to keep. I think Chandimal going down to no.6 means he intends to continue as w'k for the long haul, not as a temporary measure. I'm thinking: Dhananjaya Charith Asalanka - why not? worked with Mendis right? K Perera K Mendis A Mathews D Chandimal Roshen Silva 08-05-2016, 03:41 PM
From cricketer to commentator, Russel Arnold has remained a familiar face for Sri Lankan cricket fans, shedding his bat and pad for a microphone. Wisden Sri Lanka sat down with Arnold to talk about the start of his cricket career, his journey in the commentary box, and his thoughts on where Sri Lankan cricket is.

Absolutely brilliant from the Lankans so far! Aussie's have looked like a lost team. Smith looks horrendous a captain when things are not going his way. The Sri Lankan fielding which has been crap over the past year or so has also improved as some stunning catches have been pounced and that has made all the difference.
Herath has been the standout player, contributing both with bat and ball. Young Mendis, if the Aussie innings fails again in the second innings, which in all probability it will, will be the highest scorer of the match for the second straight match!! 08-05-2016, 08:06 PM

You never know with our #ThinkTank Anyone who has shown potential in the top order in internationals or A matches. We shouldn't keep people in the team in blind hope. We'd still have Thiri instead of Mendis if we didn't try new players. |
