What do you guys think of talented SA cricketers moving to other countries like England,for a better pay and primarily due to racial quota?.

There are youngsters who are doing this at the ages of 15-16 where they move with their parents.
Some after playing U19 cricket for SA, Trott as an example.
And the others due to Kolpak deals

Nothing wrong with it randy, you can see long term results of it already , poor kids like Nigidi went to posh schools due to direct and indirect results of the quota system, so it works.

So you think players like Ngidi and Rabada wouldnt have gotten chances early in their careers if not for racial quota?

Rabada comes from a well to do family so his case doesn't fit in to the quota system results. 

But it's the long term results what you have to look in to , for example when you give poor uneducated blacks decent jobs over whites who are  more qualified for the jobs you put an investment to balance out the differences in the society in future years, you won't see the result in 5-10 years but it's a long term plan. 

It' not about who wins a silly cricket match or who gets to play for SA team , quota system is there to fix a problem which is deep rooted.

Yes it might fix an issue having a broader scope, not limited to the sport.

But we're talking about the game, aren't we? I believe players must be chosen on merit/performance not on your skin tone.

Think of the good young players that could be lost.You can say RSK is a racist,but in a way isn't this discriminating the whites?

You talk years about the blacks being discriminated in SA, I feel like now it's the Whites who are at the receiving end of all these.

You got to change the system, maybe enhance the facilities given to the blacks,I don't how the demography is spread ,but the govt.should try and enhance facilities in the areas where it's underdeveloped so that the underprivileged can get involved in the game.

Then obviously you don't need to come up with this quota nonsense.

Its like Z-score in SL local A/Ls where if you are from an underprivileged district you have a better chance of getting in to local university, even having lesser marks than that of a Colombo District student.I know what you're thinking now, but these outstation students would come to classes in Colombo during the weekends and nullify that disadvantage.So essentially it's the Colombo District students that are at a disadvantage.

You pick a country's best XI and play cricket, that should not be dictated by petty things like Colur

I'm not talking about the just the game, I'm talking about the bigger picture of the quota system.

Who wins a silly cricket match is irrelevant when you look at the bigger picture they are trying to solve. Hope SL had a system like that.

You are just looking at the issue in cricket, it's a small price you have to pay when they are trying to fix a bigger problem in their society , open you eyes look wider.
