World cricket would lose up to 10 Test matches a year under proposals presently before the ICC designed to bring more equitable league structures to the three formats and add more context to the international game
Proposals for a "conference" style split among Test-playing nations would serve to broaden the number of teams playing Test matches while reducing the amount of fixtures played by the likes of England, India and Australia. The conference structure, believed to have been mooted by the ECB chief executive Tom Harrison, was floated as an alternative to first and second divisions, an idea vehemently opposed by the likes of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh for reasons of history and status.

Does Afghanistan have a test venue,or else they need to make Middle east home
Anyway I think all the teams should be given fair chances.
For instance we haven't played in India for 6 years and won't be for a long time,with the next series also being scheduled to be played in SL in 2017
Similarly Bangladesh are playing in India for the first time.

2015 Test series v IND was meant to be an away series for us. SLC requested to host to generate more revenue. But yeah, inconsistency in the international calendar has been going on for a long time.

The MCC World Cricket committee met in Mumbai on 6 and 7 December.
Its key findings were:
Bat size edges and depths set to be limited at 40mm and 67mm respectively
Sending off in cricket close to inclusion in Laws of Cricket for first time
Ball tampering Law will not be changed
Committee split on possibility of introducing four-day Test Matches
ICC urged to continue to work towards introducing a World Test Championship and presenting the case for cricket at the Olympic Games
Law on ball striking a fielder’s worn helmet to be changed
