Anyone know why Elgar was removed as captain yet?
Read in cricinfo somewhere that there was a high chance that he would call it quits this year or something. Maybe that's one of the major reasons.

New SA red ball coach Shukri Conrad had said his good relationship with Bavuma led to the removal of Elgar.

Windies have fought back taking 7 wickets for 79 runs after SA were well paced at 221/1. Markram making a come back to test cricket after a while making a solid 115 and Elgar getting 71 after his lean run in Australia and England, his first fifty in 13 innings.
