Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe 2020 - Bada - 01-01-2020 THE FINAL FRONTIER ![]() This will be the beginning of Kusal Mendis' ascend to greatness. This reason alone should be good enough to be glued to your TV sets. Hope they drop Dilruwan. Zimbos might make him look like Murali. I think giving opportunities to Sandakan isn't a bad idea. He has bowled a few decent spells in Tests and his record isn't awful. It's the format he can be good at. RE: Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe 2020 - Bada - 01-02-2020 New selection policy ![]() Quote:De Mel, however, doesn’t see a point in leaving Dickwella out of the side for the next assignment to just to teach him a lesson. "Keeping him out of the side is not going to help anyone. Probably we will keep him on the tour but not play him. That will teach him a harsh lesson. If you just leave him out and don’t look after, that is of no use. Just throwing out players is not the best thing because you have identified his skill. One thing is that his wicket keeping is top class. But it is frustrating to see him throw away his wicket." RE: Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe 2020 - Bada - 01-07-2020 Zimbabwe Cricket, on Tuesday (January 7), announced Sean Williams as the captain of the national Test team while Chamu Chibhabha was named interim skipper of the ODI and T20I sides. https://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/111679/sean-williams-named-test-captain-chamu-chibhabha-to-lead-in-odis-and-t20is-zimbabwe-cricket RE: Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe 2020 - Bada - 01-08-2020 The first Test match is scheduled from 19-23 January and the second from 27-31 January, with both matches going to be played at the Harare Sports Club. https://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/111692/zimbabwe-to-host-sri-lanka-for-two-tests-in-january RE: Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe 2020 - Meeharaka - 01-09-2020 So how will the wickets work for back to back test? I presume they will use 2 separate strips and somehow protect the second test pitch through the first test. Wonder if this has happened before where back to back test are played at the same venue as such a short time span. ZIM won one in that series. Pitch is irrelevant anyway because Mendis will combat that and bring glory to SL ![]() |
