This will be the beginning of Kusal Mendis' ascend to greatness. This reason alone should be good enough to be glued to your TV sets.
Hope they drop Dilruwan. Zimbos might make him look like Murali. I think giving opportunities to Sandakan isn't a bad idea. He has bowled a few decent spells in Tests and his record isn't awful. It's the format he can be good at.

The first Test match is scheduled from 19-23 January and the second from 27-31 January, with both matches going to be played at the Harare Sports Club.

So how will the wickets work for back to back test? I presume they will use 2 separate strips and somehow protect the second test pitch through the first test. Wonder if this has happened before where back to back test are played at the same venue as such a short time span.

Pretty sure Pakistan played back to back Tests in Harare before. ZIM won one in that series.
Pitch is irrelevant anyway because Mendis will combat that and bring glory to SL
