Mendis cannot be in squad. Enough is enough. My choice for 3 is Oshada who has a few more years ahead. There is no one who has has rebirths as much as Samare, the man kept on reinventing himself, but, I am pushing for Oshada 3.0.
We need a reserve wk for Chandimal at 5/6/7, at this moment prefer Madushka, he can bat, hit centuries, maybe better avoiding the new ball.
We need a reserve opener and a batsman.
Not sure who can be reserve opener, prefer Oshada at 3, Madushka can open, prolly do well at home, anyone else?

I watched Oshada's knock in second innings, he looked good against seamers when he was batting normally, didn't look good when he was slogging. I think it's not his thing and should just stick to playing sensible cricket, the 70 odd he scored against PAK in a T20 must be just a freak knock .I think many people still remember how he struggled in T20 and that's the last image they have off him.
I assume he must have addressed his issues with spinners since I saw he's the leading domestic scorer in last year.
Then again not sure if this SA A is the real SA A though, their keeper looked like a fat slob who kept missing stumping chances, bowlers didn't really looked like the next generation of SA bowlers who are knocking on the doors of test team.
