Good observation you make. While every Tom, Dick abd Harry scores in Pallekalle, Kusal has actually struggled in that ground. That is very strange. However since it is one of our flattest pitches and Mendis's purple patch usually lasts for 3 games at a time, I back him to score well in the opening game at Pallekalle.

I agree with this team apart from Avishka (I know everyone is hyped after his performance in LPL, but he will not be able to score consistently in t20s, he will score one good knock here and there, I would rather try the yougster Chamindu here and ask Kamindu to play at number 4). I also think Nuwan thushara might be a better fit for Binura. I also want to atleast try Ramesh Mendis instead of Theekshana for few games, however he is not even in the squad

Shanaka as a bowler makes no sense. Do you think he's going to have the same effect against IND? Might well as add Wellalage.

Shanaka performed better than Wellalage with the ball. Also, I feel Shanaka will still provide more than Wellalage with the bat.
