Why are many members here not excited that india is sending a full squad team.

I feel this is great, as this will be a great learning curve for us. Also India is a bloody good team, but it is Bumrah's inclusion that elevates them to world champion status in my opinion. so without him they are not invisible.

Our aims should be
-forget about winning, try to be competitive every game. No one is expecting us to win this series, play with no pressure and try to be competitive
-no matter how good they are, don't get intimated and have pre conceived ideas of a what a good total should be, must just try to aim for a par score in each game, and you never know they must lose some early wickets and we will be in the game.
-also beware new comers like Chamindu, if you perform really well against india in the t20 series you have a huge chance of getting picked in the IPL even for a meagre price
- put siraj in his place

*I am generally excited that the full squad is coming, however having said all this , it is going to be major downer, if this results in another series where we will be all out less than 100 in each innings. I will be very happy if we manage to be competitive every game and drag the games towards the end

They've been on this learning curve for the past 10 years.

Like Sam pointed out, this is great! We shouldn't think short term and look for cheap victories against minnows and depleted sides. It should be fun to see our team get tested against the cream of the crop, and hopefully steal a win or two.

Also, India sending their best side shows they have a little bit of respect for SL still.

I also agree it's good that we get to play the full Indian side. I will be happy with some competitive cricket, a win or two will be a bonus. We are playing the #1 side.
