So Vishwa isn't injured? I've been trying to find what happened to him after that 5-wkt haul. Really stupid to not pick him against a line-up that had only right-handers in the top 6.
There is an interview which demel says he's picking players on potential not stats and still highly rates Mendis after 4 ducks, praise his hundreds in Zim and other tours he scores, and he says you can see when someone plays they are talented etc.
Wow that's bizarre they would drop Vishwa. He's been trending up in general. I dunno why they'd opt to drop someone who is a left armer when we have an off spinner and a SLA bowler as our spinners as well. He would have created some nice rough for both.
The Pootential is one thing but we are making some serious mistakes with selections.
