Who else has real potential?

Vishwa F was brilliant in the first series in SA.

I guess we can't really judge them until they play at least at A team level because it means nothing getting wickets in our domestic cricket.

There was a good left-arm bowler in U-19 cricket a couple of years ago who looked like he had decent pace. Not a skeleton. Good physique. I can't remember his name.

Are you talking of Kalana Perera, plays for SSC now.

Yeah, he's the guy. There's a clip of him. Looks good physically which is rare for SL fast bowlers

Kalana took lot of wickets for STC during his school career but wasn't all that successful at U19 level if I remember correct. He played for the SL Emerging team in the Asian Emerging teams tournament in 2019 and took 4 wickets in 3 matches. Played just 3 FC matches for SSC last season taking 5 wickets. 9 List A games for 9 wickets.

Dilshan Madushanka is another left armer who has potential . Skinny but got a bit of pace . Was in the SA series squad .

Hope we look into developing this guy properly. A left-armer with good physique is rare and I seem to recall (not sure here) that he’s a reasonable batsman too
