Here is Lyon and Warne v IND
Lyon Overall 94 wickets in 22 Tests, avg 34.7 4th innings - 29 wickets in 14 innings, avg 28.6 This is piss poor from Warne Overall 43 wickets in 14 Tests, avg 47.2 4th innings - 7 wickets in 7 innings, avg 50.8 You can see home/away splits and all there. OK enough statsguru for the day for me. 01-20-2021, 05:41 AM

Clearly, he's a better bowler v India in this situation. Against an inexperience lined up on tracks with wear. He failed along with Starc. 01-20-2021, 08:19 AM
Both Lyon and Starc was a hugely disappointing in this series. They really let the team down both in Sydney and Brisbane. Cummins was the only consistent and outstanding bowler for Australia while Hazlewood was OK in patches.

“classy touch” by Ajinkya Rahane in the post-match presentation after the Gabba Test might actually have been a way to inflict more pain on Nathan Lyon, according to a certain section of Twitter users. @mugatiya |
