Sri Lanka captain Chamari Atapattu made 44 in the third and final T20 to lead her side to a 2-1 series win over Pakistan in Sharjah. Atapattu shrugged off the loss of her opening partner Lasanthi Madushani off the first ball of the chase of 111 and struck three sixes and two fours. She faced 43 deliveries and by the time she went leg-before to Nida Dar in the 15th over, Sri Lanka were only 18 runs short of the target with six wickets in hand. Dilani Manodara (18 off 26) and Eshani Kaushalya (23 off 15) chipped in with supporting acts as Sri Lanka won in the 18th over.
Pakistan chose to bat but had a disastrous start as Udeshika Prabodhani struck twice and also ran out Marina Iqbal. Bismah Maroof (46 off 38) and Sana Mir (20 off 34) rebuilt the innings from 11 for 3 but Pakistan were not able to build much momentum. Inoka Ranaweera (2 for 16) sent back both batsmen and Chathurani Gunawardene (2 for 25) did not allow Pakistan to break free at the death. A couple of late run-outs did not help Pakistan and they managed 110 for 9.
