I finished reading the 'Ender Series', a highly acclaimed Sci-Fi series by Orton Scott Card. It has a ton of book, but most of them are added later, but the four main books in chronological order of events are:
Ender's Game (1985)
Speaker for the Dead (1986)
Xenocide (1991)
Children of the Mind (1996)
I loved the first two books, and both of which won the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award which are the two most prestigious awards for sci-fi novels. The books are about humans fighting an alien race and then the guy who faught them realizing it's wrong and trying to save them. On top of exciting science, the books also has deeper meaning and discusses stuff like racial barriers and how people find it difficult to get along with 'others' all the time, all that stuff. As expected the last two books deteriorated in quality, especially the last one but I went through them anyway. Overall a really good read though. If youre into sci-fi you should def give it a try.
