You don't need to be a data scientist to be a head coach but you need to have some level of understanding of what the data is telling you and know how to make decisions based on it.
I think I remember reading SLC uses it too
I meant who tracks performance of head coach in terms of key performance indicators (as well as specialist coaches under him)?
