RE: Pakistan Super League - Bada - 12-23-2015 Dilshan and Sanga picked http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/story/953791.html RE: Pakistan Super League - Bada - 12-24-2015 Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan has agreed to be a mentor for the Peshawar Zalmi franchise, according to its owner Javed Afridi. "Imran Khan has become the mentor of our team," Javed told PTI, "We are overjoyed with this development as he represents the best of Pakistan cricket and we will benefit immensely from his guidance and advice. "We want the Pakistan Super League to benefit from the legacy and vision of Imran the cricketer." The tournament is scheduled to begin on February 4, when Peshawar will be captained by Shahid Afridi. Imran's involvement in cricket has been quite minimum since he retired in 1992, following Pakistan's victory at the World Cup. He has since become a prominent politician in Pakistan, which might put a limitation on the time he can spend with the team. Imran has not had much experience in the T20 format either, but Javed brushed those details aside and instead focused on how a presence like Imran's could impact the youngsters in his team. "Even if he has not played T20 cricket it doesn't matter what is important is his insight and views on cricket and how it should be played," Javed said. http://www.espncricinfo.com/pakistan-super-league-2015-16/content/story/954745.html RE: Pakistan Super League - BitchyDilz - 12-25-2015 azhar and Hafeez will not attend the training camp cos Amir is there.Big ha hoo in Pak forums RE: Pakistan Super League - JamisBanda - 12-25-2015 They got to move on without this drama, you can't control who else is in your team, Pakistan has terrorists who blow up innocent people all across the world but that doesn't stop them from saying 'you know what I don't want to play for a country who with terrorists who are blowing up innocent people all across the world' etc. RE: Pakistan Super League - Bada - 12-25-2015 Can understand from their side. They don't want fixers in the team they represent. RE: Pakistan Super League - pj57 - 12-25-2015 Amir has been punished and gone through the sentence. You can't punish him for life. Hafeez and Azhar has to be realistic. RE: Pakistan Super League - Bada - 01-17-2016 The Quetta Gladiators have signed Sri Lanka all-rounder Thishara Perera and England fast bowler Jade Dernbach for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Twenty20 tournament in the UAE. Surrey paceman Dernbach replaces West Indies star Jason Holder, who is forced to miss the event after his NOC request was rejected by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). http://sport360.com/article/cricket/pakistan_super_league/157100/quetta-gladiators-sign-sri-lanka-star-thishara-perera-and-englands-jade-dernbach-for-pakistan-super-league/ |
