And I know you disagreed but CPL shows that akila`s still alright. We genuinely have pretty good depth in leg spinners. I reckon Akila and Sandakan are ahead of guys like Swepson, Parkinson and Chakravathy for example
Happy mendis got a gig too. He seems to really struggle with quality pace. Pakistan and South Africa have barely seen the best of him
I haven't watched enough of Parkinson and Swepson to comment. Chalkaravarthy is more suites for T20. I dont know if Akila and Sandakan would do well as him going toe to toe with best T20 players for a month.

Pathum was also at 850k base price I think. Proven performers of other T20 leagues were at the same price.
Most of our players seem to have listed for too high specially considering how they don't have experience in other t20 leagues.

I doubt Pathum will be in IPL for some time unless he dramatically improves his SR. He is a pretty small guy, IPL players specialize in T20 bowling. Shanaka will definitely get picked, Pathum don't really see it. They rather give chance to some AvG 30 + SR 140 or Avg 25 SR 160+.
